Pre-season friendly

                                                   Wolves Casuals v Tividale

Following their impressive showing against Halesowen, Tividale visited Brinsford Stadium to play Wolves Casuals. What promised to be a 'blood and thunder' local derby turned into a romp for the visitors.Within five minutes Bellingham had fired the home side in front as Tividale took time to get into their stride. With Casuals looking good to start with, the game was turned on its' head as the visitors took total control with a pressing game and by the break, were leading 3-1. Casuals took the half-time break on the pitch( a la Phil Brown and his Hull City side ) and resumed the second half fired up somewhat and Bellingham reduced the arrears on the hour. With the game opening up and Casuals looking somewhat disorganised,Tividale were looking like scoring with every break as their wide men found acres of space. It was no surprise then when they scored three more before the final whistle.

Tividales' quick passing game was key to their win while Casuals wanted to beat three players before passing.Having seen both teams on numerous occasions last season,I would think both will be up their come the end of the season.
