Bilston Town 2 Crewe 0

For the first 30 minutes there was little to separate these two,Bilston shading it by looking the more threatening but as the half progressed it was the hosts imposing themselves.
Following the break it was a different story as the hosts took control. Fair play to the visitors who showed a spirited defence but something had to give sooner or later and on the hour mark Dixon could'nt believe his luck when, from a corner, everyone missed the cross and he was left to tap in for the hosts. fifteen minutes later it was 2-0 as Dixon latched onto a ball over the top, beat the defender and keeper shooting into the far corner ; smashing goal.
Bilston deserved the points, they looked far more threatening than the visitors who desperately need someone up front who can do something because at the moment they havve no cutting edge whatsoever.
